Delete your Chatlator account

You can delete your account and data at any time, from the app or by email.

Delete it in the app

1. Open Chatlator and go to your chats list.
2. Tap the settings icon at the top of the screen.
3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
4. Read the message and tap Delete to confirm.
5. Confirm it is you. If you signed up with Apple or Google, you will be asked to sign in with them again. If you signed up with email, you will be asked for your password.

Your account is deleted straight away and you are signed out. The data listed below is then removed automatically.

Delete it by email

If you can't use the app, email support@chatlator.com with the subject line Delete My Account, from the email address linked to your Chatlator account. We will delete the account and the data listed below for you.

What gets deleted

• Your account and sign-in details
• Your profile, including your name, languages, settings and profile photo
• Your progress saved on your profile, such as quiz results and your daily streak
• Your conversation with Chati, including any photos in it
• Your referral code
• Your push notification token, so the app stops sending notifications to your device

What stays

If you invited someone who then joined, a record of that invite is kept so the same person can't redeem a second invite code. Deletion can't be undone.
